Behind the Scenes

How the Tracks Were Made:

All tracks were arranged and mixed using Bitwig Studio, incorporating generative techniques.

Other instruments used include Modal Argon 8, Korg Volca Bass, and Korg Volca Keys.

  • Track #1 Anybody from my planet features samples from an old documentary by David Hoffman, rearranged to emphasize a specific concept relevant across generations.
  • Track #4 Perception includes samples from a random podcast about spirituality found on archive.org.
  • Track #6 Free will contains samples from a sci-fi movie about androids (title unknown).

How the Images Were Made:

The cover image of the robot girl was created using a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN), fine-tuned to express an annoyed facial expression and mixed-race features.

Following generation, the image underwent enhancement in Photoshop for makeup, cropping, and color correction.

Two additional images showcase more examples of annoyed robots created using the same technique.
